The Mongolia and Inner Asia Studies Unit would like to congratulate Dr Piers Vitebsky, Chair of the MIASU Managment Committe and MIASU affiliate, upon receiving the Honorary Lifetime Membership Award from the IASSA. This award honours his lifetime contribution to Arctic Social Sciences, and was presented at the International Congress of Arctic Social Sciences (ICASS X), Arkhangelsk, June 2021.
