Centennial Study of Khitan Script

Since the Eulogies in Khitan small script was discovered in June 1922 and the inscription in Khitan large script was discovered in October 1935, there has been a history of 100 years of study on Khitan script at home and abroad. This presentation makes a comprehensive introduction to the research on Khitan script at home and abroad in the past 100 years, mainly from the aspects of Khitan script, materials in Khitan script, Khitan script research, academic exchanges, and research platform construction.
The first part introduces what kind of writing the Khitan script is;
The second part makes a comprehensive introduction to the Khitan script research from the aspects of research materials, research methods, researchers and research achievements;
The third part introduces the international exchange and cooperation of Khitan script study.
The fourth part introduces the digitization of Khitan script and materials in Khitan script and the construction of the digital research platform.
Finally, on the basis of the summary of previous studies, the future development plan of Khitan script research is introduced.
