Dr Mikkel Bunkenborg

Mikkel Bunkenborg is an associate professor in China Studies at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, University of Copenhagen. Trained in Chinese and anthropology, he has carried out ethnographic research on bodies, medicine, politics, and popular religion in rural north China, and more recently, he has been engaged in a collaborative research project on Chinese infrastructure construction, resource extraction, and trade in Mongolia and Mozambique.
