Nasan Bayar
Nasan Bayar is Professor of Anthropology at the Inner Mongolia University (内蒙古大学). He has been working on ethnic identity, historical memory, development, and oral tradition, on the basis on fieldwork in Inner Mongolia (China) and Mongolia. He teaches economic anthropology, political anthropology, and anthropological theory. He has published Social Changes in Pastoral Communities in Inner Mongolia (in Chinese) and over 30 papers in Chinese, Mongolian and English.
