Sergey Radchenko is Professor of International Politics at Cardiff University. He is the author of Unwanted Visionaries: the Soviet Failure in Asia at the End of the Cold War (Oxford: Oxford UP 2014), and Two Suns in the Heavens: the Sino-Soviet Struggle for Supremacy, 1962-1967 (Palo Alto: Stanford UP 2009).
