We would like to warmly welcome the following visitors this term: 

April 2021 – April 2022: Qi Ruona, a visiting scholar from the Wuhan University, working on her research: 'Between Traditional Culture and Regulatory Tool: Repositioning Environmental Customs in the context of Ecological Civilization Strategy in Inner Mongolia'. Funded by the China Scholarship council. 

October 2021 – December 2021: Teo (Matteo) Benussi, a visiting scholar from the Universities of California, Berkeley and Ca' Foscari, Venice. Matteo is currently researching Muslim geographies, temporalities, and subjectivities in Inner Russia's borderlands.

October 2021 – March 2022: Liang Huang is a visiting researcher from Sichuan University, China, conducting her research - 'The Theories and Practices of Himalayan Social Studies'.

October 2021 – September 2022: Ayur Zhanaev is a visiting researcher from the University of Waraw working on his research - The Ideas of Social Order as Reflected in Didactic Buddhist Literature of the Buryat-Mongols (18th to early 20th century) funded by The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Program in Buddhist Studies
